Liz’s Spiced Peaches

 

Makes 7 – 8 servings

 

2 16-oz or 1 29-oz can cling peaches (halves)

˝ cup brown sugar

˝ cup apple cider vinegar

6 whole cloves

3 whole allspice

1 2 ˝ -inch stick cinnamon

 

Combine sugar, vinegar and spices in a saucepan. 

Bring to a boil and simmer five minutes. 

Drain peaches and add to saucepan and simmer five more minutes. 

Remove from heat and allow peaches to cool.  Serve warm or cold.
