AUNT NELLIE'S GARLIC CHICKEN
6 chicken breasts,
Clove of peeled garlic
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 can chicken broth,
1 can cream of chicken OR cream of mushroom soup ( I prefer the mushroom)
You can also add fresh mushrooms if you love them
1/3 stick of butter
Melt butter in skillet, Slice and add garlic (a whole bud)
Sprinkle chicken breasts with onion powder, paprika, salt and pepper,
Brown chicken in garlic butter on both sides, remove browned breasts to casserole dish,
Add can of broth and can of soup to drippings in pan when bubbling
Pour over breasts and bake at 350 degrees until juices are brown and bubbling about 45-60 minutes.
Serve over yellow rice, arborio rice or mashed potatoes.
It is yummy.
